I caught the Bravo Filipino concert series at TriNoMa earlier this year with Ryan Cayabyab and the RCS (Ryan Cayabyab Singers). I was with mahBebe, my brother, cousins and an aunt. Alien probably wanted to disavow any knowledge of me since I started singing “Sabihin Mo” out loud when they played it. The others with me just looked in puzzlement. Winning statement of the night came from my normally quiet brother who simply commented, “May tape ka ng Smokey Mountain di ba?” *LOL*

I most likely played that tape to death and he had residual memory of the song somewhere in his brain. Hit the source right on the head.

Another highlight of the evening was when we circled back and saw the technical booth. Rowell Santiago was there directing the show!!! *LOL* My aunt already went home by this time and she was clearly disappointed when I told her upon reaching home. I would’ve taken a picture with Mr. Santiago had the shyness gene stayed way down. I even concocted a story with Alien being the one to approach to ask him for the picture, uttering the line, “Crush po kayo ng Mommy ko dati, pwede po bang pa-picture.” Thought the better of it since he might feel insulted. *LOL*

Anyway, the clip is from the Bravo Filipino runs in one of the other Ayala Malls (Glorieeta, I think). It features Rachel Alejandro, Luke Mejares, Cris Villonco, Frenchy Dy, Mau Marcelo, Gian Magdangal and Jan Nieto on vocals.
