Here are just some of my picks from the new series launched in the recent US Fall season TV schedules.

1. Gossip Girl

Yeah, it’s what Ted would call a teenybopper show but I’m so on the Gossip Girl bandwagon! I couldn’t wait for the next episode to come out. Penn Badgley is so not an Adam Brody. Oh, and as pointed out on the IMDB message boards, the last episode showed a very hot kiss between Dan and Serena. It seems that Dan is a great kisser.

I don’t really see any similarities between Dan Humphrey and Seth Cohen. Probably just the cool dads. I am so loving Matthew Settle as Rufus Humphrey. Sometimes I even find the dad hotter than the son.

2. Chuck

Chuck is also on my list. I’ve always been fascinated with Zachary Levi since Less than Perfect. But Chuck fits him to a T. All the more loving it since Adam Baldwin is on it. Jayne! The Browncoats would know what I’m talking about.

3. Moonlight

I’m a little bit on the fence about Moonlight. I’ll keep on watching because Jason Dohring, who I absolutely adore, is on the cast as Josef, a 400-year-old vampire. I’ve been digging vampire series ever since Forever Night. Yes, even before Buffy and Angel.

Just one question though, why do vampires choose to become police officers or private investigators? What’s up with that?

I’m still trying to figure out Pushing Daisies. I’m not really taken by it but I’m willing to give it a chance. I haven’t had the chance to check out the other new shows of the season so expect quite a few more posts like this in the next few weeks.
