There’s a reason why I love TV, I need to escape reality for a few hours each day to maintain my sanity. But when something like the explosion at Glorietta happens, it’s something that you can’t just shake off.
My prayers go for the repose of the souls of those who perished, for the quick recovery of those who were injured and for all affected families to be healed.
The cospiracy theorist in me can’t help but woder why this is happening right now. With ZTE, impeachment, and the Malacanang pay outs in the news right now, something this big would definitely bump those off the front pages. I just hope that our collective memories can still focus on the other big issues.
Again, prayers for those who are affected. I hope things get back to normal soon.

know what? i’ve been so swamped with news everyday that i have become numb about the ZTE, bribery, etc. scandals. so numb that i couldn’t see the connection between the glorietta bombing and the polical noise. must take a vacation. geez.
