We made plans to attend mass at the Chapel of the Holy Sacrifice inside the UP Diliman campus today. You see, the UPCAT is next weekend and Alien needed to know how to get to the School of Economics.
Since it was a Sunday and the Acad Oval was closed to traffic, we took the scenic route getting to the church.
(At the church, I saw fivefeetflat who happened to be the one I asked about the mass schedules yesterday. Who would have thought! An2net and me in church! Our curling horns could have been caught in each other’s and blocked the people from passing! hehehe)
Nostalgia kicked in somehow since it has been 7 years since I graduated and stopped going to the campus regularly. I never really hung out there after graduation and I never really saw it beyond the eyes of a student who had to get from classes at AS to the Math Building or to meetings from Masscom to BA.
I’m contemplating on getting started on my graduate studies and I’m wondering whether I have the right mindset to actually do it. I’ve always been competitive in school despite the fact that I’ve always told myself to not be competitive. (Gets?) It hurt if I didn’t get high marks despite the fact that on the outside it didn’t seem to bother me.
As my friend and classmate (from Prep to NatSci 1!) Iit is now in Germany taking her PhD(!) studies told me, “All the while, ang akala kong mahihilig mag-aral ay ikaw.” Now I’m thinking if I have the guts to put myself under all the strain of performing that dance once again. Pressure na naman itoh!

UP Chapel by ducko.rm. My Sunday started weird enough. Usually I go to mass on a Saturday night but for reasons (which I will blog pretty soon), we had to move it on a Sunday. I saw first T’s……
