My mom works at a government agency and they recently held the anniversary of their junior unit. One of the activities is a haiku writing contest. For one reason or another, I am now judging it.
I’m more comfortable writing and evaluating prose but the guidelines are fairly simple so I said yes. I was just looking at some entries and I must say that some of them are pretty good.
That said, there’ll be a lot of reading going on this weekend.
