I wasn’t able to watch the American Idol showdown between Katherine McPhee and Taylor Hicks so I didn’t see Taylor perform this song for the first time. Since he’s been on countless talk and variety shows since winning, I couldn’t get away from the song. It sounds cheesy and all but something about it resonates in me.

It’s something in the lyrics I think… See for yourself if something hits you as well.
