Nope, not the musical. I miss the city. I miss the energy of downtown. I miss walking through Erie from Lake Shore going towards the Magnificent Mile, Michigan Avenue. (But of course! Shopping, baby! 
) I miss Navy Pier and the parks along the way. I miss the view of Lake Michigan. And more than anything, I miss the food! (Missing my relatives is a given of course, 
)
Two things reminded me of my love for this city: Lori, a food writer blogging at Dessert Comes First went on a trip and detailed her Chicago Food Flight of Fancy (part 1 here and part 2 here).
The second one is Late Night is spending this week in Chicago. etc (Channel 52 on SkyCable) telecasts Conan at 12 midnight.
*sigh* Here’s hoping I will get to travel even once during the next few months. Chicago is waiting and I still have the spare key to Ate Annie’s house!
