It started out as a joke. But I think that I might as well push through with it if I can get the resources together.
an2net brought up the idea of going to Hidalgo since she wants a DSLR. Arn got into it since she has been looking at buying an iXus for some time now. I though I could go back and get myself a videocam since our V8 camera has seen better days. That camera has covered weddings, debuts, rallies, violent dispersals, staged robberies, sex scenes (hahaha) and what nots from my broadcast classes and freelancing days.
I looked around and scouted for prices. Sony has a promo but it’s for the older models and DVD handycams which I am not really a fan of. Then I got this flyer for Canon video cameras and saw the XL2 worth a whopping Php 260,000 (around US$5000)! I started joking around that I want a broadcast quality camera not an Optura or a ZR (to which I’m leaning towards).
Enter Angelo. When an2net, Angelo and I were chatting, I brought up the idea of the broadcast quality camera. He said that since a lot of people are upgrading to the Canon XL2, they are selling their Sony VX2000. 
He could ask around for me to see if the price would be good. So now I’m thinking this could be a reality. *LOL* Well, if Director’s Cut wants a revival…. Calling Nyamarah, Michael Josh, Bittersweet and Sheils!

On another note, I found this ad for a 350D and he’s selling it at 35k. 2nd hand. Bought on July 2005.
