I was looking around and searching for text and HTML editors, and I found Hotdog from Sausage Software.
I have several projects in the pipeline and everything that happened for the past few days have brought me full circle to the things that I have dabbled with in the past. Hotdog was the first HTML editor that I ever used. It was shareware and when my trial period was up, I had withdrawal symptoms. I remember that I stopped updating my site then and it took a while before I was able to face the HTML codes.
This is one cool application since the interface was simple and easy to use. I was just beginning to learn HTML then and it helped me understand how the tags and the code works. The current release is Hotdog Professional 7. It is available for trial and retails for $99.95.

I remember you recommending HotDog way back in 1998. I recommend you go for the industry editor of choice, Dreamweaver as it allows great control while at the same time remains a WYSIWYG editor. They have a new version out Dreamweaver 8, should be out in stores locally before the end of the year.

I was surprised to find out that Hotdog is still churning out the software. Dreamweaver may be the next step for me if I would really pursue stuff seriously. I have reservations about the program at this stage.
